What Do I Need to Provide to a Library Once My Track Is Accepted?

Short answer: nothing extra.

Once your track is accepted by a library, That Pitch automatically delivers everything they need. There’s no manual sending of files, no back-and-forth emails, and no additional uploads required from you.

We handle the delivery so you can stay focused on making music.

That said, there are a few optional things you can do to make sure you’re fully set up for success.

1) Keep Your Writer Profile Up to Date

Your Writer Profile is used for:

  • royalty collection

  • PRO reporting

  • contributor identification

Make sure your:

  • legal name

  • PRO affiliation

  • IPI number (if available)

are accurate and current. This helps ensure royalties flow correctly.

2) Keep Your Artist Profile Current

Your Artist Profile represents your project across the That Pitch ecosystem and helps libraries understand your brand.

Helpful things to keep updated:

  • artist image

  • location

  • genre focus

  • project description

This is not required for placement, but it can help libraries better position your music.

3) Stems Are Optional

Some libraries like having stems available for flexibility in edits and placements.

Uploading stems is:

  • completely optional

  • not required for acceptance

  • something you can add anytime

If you have them, great. If not, no stress.

4) ISRC and ISWC Codes Can Help

If you already have an:

  • ISRC (recording code)

  • ISWC (composition code)

adding them can help with:

  • tracking usage

  • collecting additional royalties

  • ensuring accurate reporting

They are not required, but they can be beneficial.

The Bottom Line

Once your track is accepted:

  • We automatically deliver audio

  • We send metadata

  • We provide all necessary documentation

  • No action is required from you

The only things you may want to do are:

  • keep your profiles updated

  • upload stems if you’d like

  • add ISRC/ISWC if available

Everything else is handled for you.

Just keep making music — we’ll take care of the rest.
