Should I Register With A PRO?

If you like money, then yes! You need to be registered with a PRO (Performing Rights Organization).

  • Non-Exclusive Tracks: We highly suggest that your non-exclusive tracks are registered with a PRO. This ensures you can collect all the royalties you’re entitled to from performances and broadcasts. You can enter the ISWC on all non-exclusive track uploads. Please note, you are responsible for registering these tracks. That Pitch at this time, does not register non-exclusive tracks for you.
  • Exclusive Tracks: Your exclusive tracks, however, cannot be registered with a PRO. This is to avoid any conflicts with the libraries that will manage and administer these tracks. Once accepted by a library, the library will then register the track on your behalf and it will show up in your PRO.

Registering with a PRO helps you maximize your earnings from your music, so it's definitely worth doing.
