At That Pitch, splits are added during the upload process and cannot be changed afterward. This ensures everyone is credited correctly from day one and avoids confusion once music is delivered to libraries.
When do I add splits?
Splits must be added while uploading your track.
You won’t be able to add or edit collaborators after the upload is complete, so it’s important to have this information ready ahead of time.
How to add splits during upload
Step 1: Upload your track
Begin the normal upload process.
Step 2: Add collaborators
During upload, you’ll see the option to add collaborators and assign their shares.
You’ll enter:
Collaborator name
Email address
Percentage split
If they don’t already have an account, they’ll receive an invite to join for free so they can accept their share.
Step 3: Confirm percentages
All splits must total 100%. Make sure everything is agreed upon before submitting.
Viewing splits later
After upload, you can review splits at any time by going to the Splits tab in your dashboard.
Important to know
Because music is delivered to libraries quickly, we’re not able to adjust splits after submission. This protects everyone involved and prevents royalty conflicts later.
Simple version: add splits during upload — they can’t be changed later.
