Fraud Policy

At That Pitch, fraudulent behavior is not tolerated under any circumstances. We are committed to protecting artists, libraries, partners, and the music industry as a whole.

At our discretion, users suspected of fraudulent activity may be subject to any or all of the following actions:

  • Immediate suspension or permanent account closure without warning

  • Forfeiture of any royalty payments, earnings, or refunds

  • Reporting of activity to industry partners and relevant authorities

  • Exposure to civil lawsuits

  • Exposure to criminal prosecution


Industry protection & reporting

That Pitch and Cleared Music are proud members of Music Fights Fraud Alliance and actively collaborate with National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance to report suspicious or fraudulent activity.

We work directly with industry partners to help ensure:

  • Fraudulent behavior is identified quickly

  • Bad actors are removed from the ecosystem

  • The integrity of the music licensing industry is protected


Additional consequences

Users suspected of fraud may also face civil or criminal action from any affected party, including libraries, distributors, rights holders, or clients.


Our stance

If you are engaging in suspicious, deceptive, or dishonest behavior, this is not the place to do it. We take fraud seriously, we investigate thoroughly, and we act quickly.
