To maintain your active listings and receive ongoing royalty administration, your membership must remain in good standing. We automatically re-bill your account every month or year (depending on your subscription plan) so you never have to worry about missing an opportunity.
If your subscription ends or a renewal payment fails, here is exactly what happens to your music and account:
1. Removal of Non-Exclusive Music
If a subscription is canceled or a payment fails, your non-exclusive music will be removed from our library networks.
Administering non-exclusive music requires extensive operational overhead. Your membership fee directly covers the cost of clearing your music legally on a monthly basis, gathering global revenue reports from libraries and PROs, processing international payouts, and providing customer support. We cannot continue to administer global royalties for inactive accounts.
2. Exclusive Library Placements & Royalties
Any tracks successfully signed to exclusive libraries prior to your account changes will remain active under the terms of those specific library contracts. You will continue to securely receive all global earnings and royalties owed to you from those exclusive placements.
3. 14-Day Failed Payment Grace Period
We know you do not want any surprises when it comes to your music. If an automated charge fails, our billing system will attempt to retry the card and will send you immediate alerts. We provide a strict 14-day grace period to update your billing details before your non-exclusive music is deactivated and officially pulled from library networks.
4. Rejoining is Easy
If your music is removed after your subscription ends, you can re-join That Pitch at any time! Once your membership is reactivated, we will automatically redeliver your tracks to the networks and resume full global administration like nothing ever happened. 🙂
