Collaborator Accounts & Splits

We launched Splits — so now you can invite your bandmates, co-writers, and other collaborators directly into your songs on That Pitch. 🎉

Here’s how it works:

Inviting Collaborators

  • When you upload a track, you can add all of your co-writers and bandmates to the song.

  • They’ll each get an invite to join That Pitch for free.

👉 Important: An invited collaborator does not need a paid account to accept and manage their splits.

What Collaborators Get

When someone is invited as a collaborator:

  • They receive a free account.

  • With that free account they can:

    • Accept all collaborations shared with them by Pro members.

    • Upload their own music into 1 library.

What Pro Members Get

If the primary uploader is a Pro member:

  • Their track can go into 100+ libraries worldwide.

  • Any collaborators they invite (even if they’re on free accounts) will still be credited and included automatically.

Quick Example

  • You’re on a Pro plan and upload a track.

  • You add 2 co-writers (both brand new to That Pitch).

  • They each get free accounts.

  • They can accept the collab, see their splits, and everything goes into 100+ libraries — because you’re Pro.

  • If they later upload their own song, their free account will distribute it into 1 library.

TL;DR

  • Free collaborator accounts = unlimited collab acceptance + upload 1 library.

  • Pro accounts = unlimited collab acceptance + upload into 100+ libraries.

  • Whoever is the primary uploader sets the track’s distribution level.
